5. Processes of Biodiesel Plant

Pre-treated feedstock is reacted with methanol using a hydroxide catalyst in a single-stage process yielding fatty acid methyl esters. After removal of excess methanol, the crude methyl ester is settled to remove the co-product glycerol. Following sedimentation, the ester is Waste Cooking Oil Biodiesel Processor Equipment distilled, which removes catalyst residues, free glycerin, and other undesirable products soluble in the ester. After distillation, biodiesel is discharged to storage.

Preatment and Refinery: The process adopts the continuous degumming, acid, dehydration, in addition to the complex technology, improving equipment utilization, lower equipment investment. Methyl Ester Distillation: The process adopts the technology of continuous distillation fractionating tower, with high yield, light product color, no smell, etc. Main process is: first, the low boiling fractionation in the refinery tower become into a fuel oil, and second, the long carbon chain fatty acid methyl ester distillation in the carbon tower and get biodiesel and by-product asphalt plants.

Methanol recovery : After transesterification,the excess of unreacted methanol is recovered by continuous double flash towers and then reused directly.
