Oil refining is a way to get rid of the harmful impurities and needless substance in the crude oil, such as, fatty acid, phosphatide, metal ion , pigment, oxide, soild particle and volatile gas.The Oil Refinery Machine is used for removing the impurities of oil, It is suitable for refining various crude oil, vegetable oil, such as sunflower seed oil, tea seed oil, coconut oil, olive oil, palm oil, rice bran oil, peanut oil, soybean oil, corn oil, groundnut oil , rapeseed oil, mustard seed oil and so on.aims at improve the oil storage stability , flavor and color.Then get standard quality edible oil or provides qualified material for deep processing procedure.

crude oil → degumming → deacidification → decolorization → deodorization→ (Winterization/Fractionation)→Standard edible oil
Different Types of oil refinery plant :
There are mainly two refining methods: chemical and physical method. We can divide the refinery plant into three types according to different capacities: Batch type refinery,Semi-continuous type refinery,Continuous type refinery.
1. Batch type refinery plant: the process to refine the oil batch by batch,suitable for small capacity like 1-30tons per 24 hrs.
2. Semi-continuous type refinery plan: some part is batch type oil refining, some part is full continuous oil refining , Degumming , deacidification, decolorization part is fully continuous tower.This is cost-effective and labor saving technology, suitable for medium capacity like 30- 80tons per 24 hrs.
3.Continuous type refinery plan: The whole refinery process is full continuous, no need much human operating, suitable for bigger capacity like 50-600tons per 24 hrs.
Whole Detail methods of oil refinery plant:
A. Degumming section:
This is the most important section of de-gumming, adding the water (there is a little P-acid in water) to remove the gum.
B. Deacidification section:
Using alkali like (NaOH) to neutralize FFA in oil, during this process it will produce soapstock , then separating it from the oil.
C.Decolorization Section:
Because there is pigment in crude oil, the oil color is dark. In order to lighten oil color, we need to using the white clay to absorb the pigment away, then using vibrating filter to separate the waste clay. If you want to get light color oil, you need to add more white clay. the oil color can be controlled by clay amount.
D.Deodorization section:
General speaking , the crude oil smells not good, it will affect of oil storage and price. So we usually use the direct steam to take odors. At the meanwhile, there is about 0.5% water content in refined oil, because the high temperature in the deodorization pot, dehydration is also finished. After that, the final oil will be refined once again through safety filter.
