The structure of 6YL-130 Oil press machine

Screw oil expeller are mainly composed by shift gear box, press cage, feeder, press screw, and machine frame. The five parts are the main structure of screw oil expeller. The screw type seed oil expeller is an crude oil processing equipment.

Extruding Method of several Raw Material

1) Cold extruding: Raw material – Selecting – Pressing ( in case of adequate water content).

2) Hot extruding: Raw material – Selecting - Pre-Pressing – Heating (Steaming etc) – Pressing.

Working principle

When oil press operation prepared material enters chamber form the hopper and then moves forwards by the rotating pressing screw and is pressed.

Under the highpressure condition in the chamber ,friction between materials and screw,between material and chamber will be created which also created which also creates friction and relative movement among material particles,on the other hand toot diameter of the pressing screw caries larger form one end to the other ,hence,when rotating,it not only pushes particles moving forwards but turns them outwards as well,meanwhile,particle adjacent the screw will rotation along with screw’s rotating,causing every particle inside the chamber to possess different speed

Therefore relative movement among particle creates heat which is necessary during manufacturing because of helping protein change property,damage colloid, increase plasticity,decrease oil-elasticity, resulting in high oil productivity.

What is the requirement of material and moisture content?

The oil content should above 20%, moisture content is around 11%.

Is the oil edible directly?

No, oil filtration process is needed

Does the seeds need pre-processing such as roasting or drying?First pressing, is extracted with using roasting or drying (a hot press), Second pressing, is extract without using roasting or drying( a cold press).

Does the screw oil press need to be heated?

Yes, it does. Preheat with dry oil cake for 30 minutes before feeding seeds normally.
